How to choose correct Liquid nitrogen tank
Users should consider three factors when selecting a liquid nitrogen storage tank for cells:
First, the number of samples: For storage of no more than 100 cryovials at a time, a 10-20L small tank is preferable; for 500-3000 cryovials, a 30-65L medium tank is suitable; and for more than 3000 cryovials, a large tank of 95L or more should be considered.
Second, the storage period: For short-term turnover (within one month), a model with a shelf life of 20-60 days is suitable; for long-term storage (more than three months), a product with a shelf life of more than 90 days should be selected to avoid frequent replenishment affecting sample stability.
Third, intelligent requirements: If real-time monitoring and automatic replenishment are required, the CryoBank series gas-liquid chromatography tanks are preferred; for traditional storage, the basic YDS series models are suitable.
In addition, the supporting requirements must be considered in the entire process of sample storage: if the number of samples is small and the volume is small, there is no need for a large diameter such as 125mm. It can be used with a cryogenic liquid nitrogen tank and its matching cylindrical lifting tube; when the samples are transported across sites, the liquid nitrogen transport tank can ensure the temperature stability during the transport process and ensure that the activity of the samples is not affected.
