AODA TEN series Soil tensiometer

The TEN series soil tensiometer consists of a tensiometer tube, a pointer-type negative pressure gauge, and a ceramic head. Using the negative pressure gauge to measure soil water potential is an important means of studying soil water movement from an energy perspective. The instrument is widely used in scientific experiments, irrigation management and other fields!

When the acrylic tube is filled with water, the ceramic probe becomes moist and prevents air from entering the probe. When a pressure difference exists between the water potential of the soil being measured and the tensiometer, the water in the soil moisture tensiometer seeps into the soil being measured until equilibrium is reached. The value displayed on the pressure gauge at this point is the soil water potential of the soil being measured.

The soil tensiometer length can be customized according to customer requirements (standard length refers to the length of the transparent polycarbonate negative pressure tube in the middle of the tensiometer tube).
